Learn To Quilt - Meets 11/7, 11/14, and 11/21
Service Description
THIS CLASS MEETS THREE TIMES - November 7, 14, and 21. Join Marie in this class to learn the basics of quilting: fabric selection, rotary cutting skills, strip piecing construction technique, pressing tips, block layout options, and finishing techniques (stitch in the ditch or grid machine quilting, batting selection, and binding). The quilt pattern is the Log Cabin with its many layout options in a lap quilt size, approximately 40" x 60". PLEASE NOTE: You will make the 40" x 60" size quilt in this class. If you wish to make a larger quilt later that's fine, but the smaller quilt size will enable you to concentrate on learning all of the quilting techniques covered in this class.
